We stayed at the Cave Country RV Campground over the 4th of July weekend. It was very clean, well kept, and a perfect base of operations for several side trips including; Mammoth Cave Park, Camping World in Bowling Green, Barren River State Park. The cable TV and wifi were top notch. The owner was very nice and appreciative. Landscaping was very nice. Dog run was well maintained and a big hit with the traveling K-9's and their owners. While this isn't necessarily a destination RV park it is great as a base of operation for several side trips, or a great, easy to access stop when traveling thru KY on I-65. The only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 is I would've liked to of had some more mature trees, but that will take care of itself in time. If you have kids, there is a small go-cart track and arcade nearby that was a big hit with my 13 year old.
Nice campground. Lady in office was extremely nice and helpful. Well maintained, clean, plenty of space between units. Campground has playground, volley ball court, hiking trails, horse trails, close to boat launch and fishing. Campers next door caught a mess of fish from the shore using night crawlers and meal worms. The bath house was clean and centrally located. Campsite had a nice gravel pad, picnic table, lantern post, and a fire ring in each site, good TV reception with regular antenna. We will definitely come back here again for a quick weekend get away.
